I have always wondered, what is radiology? I’m still not really sure exactly what radiology is. I often hear the term ‘radiology’ passed around in certain conversations, but I have never really had a concrete understanding of the term. While this didn’t really matter at first, when a couple of friends then told me they would have to go to the radiology department for certain procedures, I got rather worried as it seemed such a grand term and I wasn’t at all sure what actually happened in a radiology department! Therefore, I have finally decided I am going to make sure I can make sure I have a full grasp of radiology is for the next time a friend or family member needs to visit a radiology department!
